JABUGO | bar Iberico is named after the eponymous village of 'Jabugo' in the Spanish province of Huelva, which is located in the south of Spain in the region of Andalusia. Jabugo is right in the heart of the Sierra Aracena at a lofty altitude of 700 m. The town is mainly known for its hams, which are considered some of the most expensive in Spain. The pigs kept here are fed solely on acorns, or “bellotas”, during the last three to five months of their lives. An Iberico pig can eat up to ten kilograms of acorns a day, giving the meat a sublime, nutty and full flavour.
