The first of its kind space has been designed for customers to experience the latest XR technology and explore everything these new products and services have to offer.
Upon arriving at the XR playground customers can explore a range of wearable products, learn about how they can benefit their lives through live demos, and take the range home – everything from gaming, working from home more effectively and even taking photos on the go whilst on holiday. The space features flagship products from Meta, Playstation and HTC, and represents EE’s strategic ambition to become the home of technology on the high street. The space is hosted by expert ‘XR Guides’ who are on hand to discuss everything XR has to offer and support customers through a live XR experience.
Marc Allera, CEO of EE’s Consumer division said: ‘At EE we’re committed to supporting everyone in the UK explore everything the XR category has to offer, with our Guides offering personalised and tailored solutions based on every customer's needs. We’ve reimagined our retail stores to become the home of technology on the high street – come and explore the XR playground today.’
The playground is now open for everyone to experience, with EE planning to extend the concept into more locations across the coming months.
