Shopping meets art & culture: the ARTS ‘N’ ACTS Festival enters its second round - including an open Sunday

Get ready: On the first weekend in May (3 and 4 May), the art and culture festival, ARTS ‘N’ ACTS, will take place for the second time at Westfield Centro. For two days, the creative scene of the Ruhr region will come together in our centre and show everyone how colourful and diverse our region is.

But that's not all: shopping fans can also look forward to an extra-long shopping week. Because on Sunday, 4 May from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., the 250 stores in the Westfield Centre will be open for business.

STAGE FREE

Whether singing, painting or comedy: on 3 and 4 May, our mall will become a giant stage. Every half hour, a wide variety of artists will perform on three stages - not all of them professionals. Because that's what makes the ARTS ‘N’ ACTS Festival so special: selected up-and-coming artists can also show what they've got. In addition to the stages on the ground floor, this year there will also be an area for performances on the upper floor - near SiNN.

WORKSHOPS & HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES

Away from the stages, our shopping arcade will be transformed into an exciting pop-up gallery where you can marvel at great works of art during your shopping trip. As in the previous year, you will also have the opportunity to let off steam with your own creativity at workshops and hands-on activities - and perhaps discover a new hobby.
