Up to 2,529 guests can be seated in the nine theatres of the CineStar in Westfield Oberhausen. 641 of them can enjoy a truly bombastic cinema experience in cinema 5, the largest auditorium, on a 133m² screen.

All the theatres are fully digitalised and 3D and HFR-capable, although three screens can also be used for analogue, because you never know which classic you might want to pull out of the box again.

In addition, all the odd-numbered auditoriums are equipped with state-of-the-art 4K projectors, which at 8.8 million pixels offer four times the resolution of conventional cinema images.

Cinema 3 also has the option of broadcasting live events, which is why, for example, the Metropolitan Opera, rock concerts and major football matches can also be watched live at Westfield Oberhausen from time to time.

With the exception of cinemas 2 and 8, all theatres are also barrier-free and equipped with special wheelchair spaces.
