Graduates of the French ESDI (École supérieure de Design Industriel), they joined forces in 2000 to found Inook, their digital design agency. For 20 years they have come up with innovative, creative and dynamic projects for companies, brands and institutions searching for a strong identity. Interfaces, software, video and interactive installations, websites, connected object and more: www.inook.com
At the same time, they created the Anooki and developed this animated universe first on the internet, then with collector’s items, and especially with sound and light shows and gigantic inflatable statues. For the past decade their shows and exhibits have travelled the world over: www.anooki.com
In 2022, they imagine Grand Mix. Historical art masterpieces sing popular songs on the facades, creating a bridge between popular culture and art history. A show that received a huge ovation during the Lyon Festival of Lights.
The Anooki are droll and cheeky. They convey values of friendship, of peaceful cohabitation. They communicate their high spirits, touching the hearts of adults and enthralling the little ones. They commandeer urban spaces, diverting them and reimagining them as playgrounds, bubbles of freedom. They change how we see cities and our surroundings. They redefine the scale and importance of places. They are also stalwart messengers for the environment. The Anooki are well positioned for observing the fragility of our planet and climate change. Their ice floe has dissolved; they are on the front line in experiencing these climate upheavals. We believe that the solution to environmental issues lies in each and every one of us, in our power to imagine and fashion solutions.
And what if the Anooki had the power to let our imaginations run wild?
