Green roofing: Access Badner Bahn to entrance 5

The latest initiative in terms of climate and environmental protection at Westfield Shopping City Süd is the roofing over of the entrance from Badner Bahn to Entrance 5. The approximately 80 metre long, covered access promenade is equipped with 440 photovoltaic modules and produces around 155,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per year. This is roughly equivalent to the consumption of sixty 4-person households. This system can also save around 80 tonnes of CO2.
