Join Alinea Medical Imaging for a Mammogram Screening Event on Sunday, October 20, from 9 AM to 5 PM, in the parking lot near Panini Kabob at Westfield Fashion Square.

Mammograms are typically covered for women over 40 without symptoms. If you're under 40, here’s what you need to know:

• Patients under 40 must have a doctor’s order (no self-referrals).
• If under 30, the doctor’s order must specify why you’re at high risk (e.g., strong family history, BRCA mutation).
• Self-pay may be required if insurance does not cover exams for patients under 40.

Insurance: Alinea accepts a variety of HMO and PPO plans. Please check with the event coordinator for more details.

Get Results: Receive your mammography results within 14 business days.

No Insurance? You may qualify for FREE SCREENING through California’s Cancer Detection Program - Every Woman Counts (CDP-EWC). To be eligible, you must:

• Be 40 years of age or older
• Have a low household income
• Be uninsured
