Since 2022, URW has invested in the evolution of Old Orchard, bringing in new restaurants, health and wellness amenities, and best-in-class fashion retailers. The former Lord & Taylor was completely reimagined, with the space now a new destination for luxury home furnishings, top fashion, and entertainment.

The next phase. 

In partnership with FOCUS Development, Westfield Old Orchard will begin its transformation, elevating an already exceptional experience at the center. Modern residences, gourmet markets, green spaces and outdoor lounges will create a vibrant, multifaceted destination. A tastefully designed outdoor environment will be a hub for community gatherings, from outdoor concerts and farmers markets to festivals, creating a go-to destination for residents and visitors alike.

URW’s Better Places initiative aims to reduce the company’s carbon footprint and limit the impact of our activities on the environment. With this in mind, the development at Westfield Old Orchard will integrate renewable energy, natural materials, biophilic design, and biodiversity into its building strategies while upgrading existing structures to meet industry-leading standards.

Westfield Old Orchard is also on a path to achieving LEED Gold for the new development, a green building certification program developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.
