Information on donating textiles

🚫 What should I NOT donate?

MOOT's mission is to upcycle textiles. MOOT therefore has no use for cuddly toys, accessories, furniture, cosmetics or your cat. You should also not donate dirty or defective textiles.

🤔 WHAT happens to my donation?

Your donated textiles will end up at our partner sorting centre ALTA WEST GmbH in the Krayenberg community in the middle of Germany. Your donations will be viewed and sorted there. Textiles that are suitable for upcycling products are checked, cleaned and finally sewn into new MOOT garments. The rest is recycled by MOOTS partner Boer Group.

📍 WHERE can I find the clothing containers?

The two containers are located at car park P3, to the side of the UCI.
