You can become a lifesaver on your next visit to Westfield Ruhr Park. The DRK Blood Donation Service West pop-up store is open for you from Monday to Friday. You'll find the store next to PicturePeople Baby/opposite Galeria. Blood donations are currently urgently needed! You can make your contribution in the new, temporary branch of the DRK - so that all patients can continue to be safely supplied with blood products.

Your donation will of course be rewarded with a small thank you and a snack voucher that can be redeemed in various catering establishments in Westfield Ruhr Park.

Interested donors should make an appointment in advance.

Who can donate blood? You can donate blood from the age of 18. If you are donating blood for the first time, you must not be older than 68. Repeat donors may donate blood up to the age of 75 (one day before their 76th birthday to be precise).

When can you donate blood? Men may donate blood six times a year, women four times a year. There must be 56 days between two donations.

What are the requirements for donating blood? You can donate blood if you are healthy, weigh at least 50 kg and are authorised to donate blood by our doctor.
