World Down Syndrome Day: Westfield Shopping City Süd organised a day of action

Under the motto ‘Down on Stage’, Westfield Shopping City Süd hosted World Down Syndrome Day for the first time this year on 21 March 2022. In addition to an informative exhibition, the organisations ‘Ich bin aktiv - Lebensbegleitung für Menschen mit Behinderung’ and the ‘Verein Down-Syndrom Österreich’ were also present. One of the highlights was also the dance groups from ‘Ich bin O.K.’ and ‘I Dance Company’, a dance ensemble from T21Büne, who demonstrated their talent directly at the Water Plaza. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of trisomy 21 and provide a stage for people with Down's syndrome.
