| As a University of California, San Diego student in the late 70's, I was present at your mall grand opening and considered it then to be the best "all around" mall I've ever been to. The drive from La Jolla to National City was well worth it while bypassing the "monster malls" in Mission Valley and Fashion Valley. Coming from Guam U.S.A., I was impressed with your "hometown" atmosphere that was not pretentious but full of genuine warmth and sincere hospitality. As a visitor from an island that caters to hordes of Asian tourists and is home to legions of the U.S. military, I felt a casual and relaxed environment at your mall that made me feel like I belonged. Your food court provided comfort, your movie theater made my day and the shopping was truly enjoyable. Now it's 2009, I have since graduated from UCSD and my own daughter is a college student in San Diego. Plaza Bonita may have grown and improved tremendously over the years and yet I still feel a closeness and deep appreciation of this community shopping -Cecilio G. |

| I`ve been going to plaza bonita for a long time. plaza bonita is somewhat of a sanctuary for me. I LOVE PLAZA BONITA. I love how people are just so nice. and i just love how the people who work there are the nicest most humble people you could ever met/see in a mall. i have reccommended this mall to everyone i know when a family member comes in town i make SURE that they go to plaza bonita because its the best mall ive ever been to. -Alysha W. |
