For almost a century, White City has been a stage for London cultural events. The Franco-British Exhibition of 1908, the Japan-British Exhibition of 1910 and the first purpose built Olympic arena, all stood on the site. Today, White City is home to the BBC’s Television Centre and new Media Village. Tomorrow, it will also play host to the ultimate retail and leisure development in the UK, Westfield London.
