Run a business whilst you are still in education
Work well and you could make a profit!
Experience different roles and see what you enjoy
Work with your friends and meet new people
The world of work can be a very challenging place and even with the best grades around job seekers can sometimes fall short due to their lack of employability skills or experience.

By participating in the Young Enterprise programmes you show a true commitment to developing yourself and making your CV stand out from the rest. Each year YE works with thousands of young people in the North West, sometimes this is with students who have chosen to participate in extra-curricular activities such as the Company Programme and sometimes with students who are receiving enterprise education as part of the national curriculum.

Every student at Key Stage Four (14-16)must be offered five days of enterprise education under a new government ruling called the 'Enterprise Entitlement'. If you have already participated in Young Enterprise at your school or establishment you may recognise many of the people and programmes mentioned in these pages, if you haven't please explore and find out what you are missing!
