Westfield Gateway is partnering with EducationQuest Foundation and many other Nebraska organizations to present KnowHow2GO, a national public service campaign designed to teach 8th-10th grade high school students the actual steps they need to take to make their college dreams a reality.
The KnowHow2GO campaign, which launched in January 2007, is sponsored by the American Council on Education, Lumina Foundation for Education and the Ad Council. KnowHow2GO was founded on the knowledge that 8 out of 10 students from all income levels expect to earn a bachelor’s degree or higher.
However, few students understand the steps it takes to be fully prepared for college. In response, KnowHow2GO took the extensive to-do list for college planning and created four simple steps that students can follow with the help of adult mentors.
