Elegant Transformation

In November 2008, Westfield Galleria at Roseville unveiled the first stage of an inspired $270 million transformation.  The destination’s 400,000 square foot expansion introduces world-class luxury retailers and first-to-market shops to an exclusive new setting.

Louis Vuitton and flagship locations for H&M, Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, and Restoration Hardware are only some of the exciting new arrivals.  Macy’s and JCPenney also boast new upsized stores, while The Cheesecake Factory has joined the likes of Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Il Fornaio in a lineup of high visibility signature restaurants.  A brand new café-style Dining Terrace offers fast-casual eateries, fresh new flavors, and an entirely different approach to the presentation of shopping center cuisine.

Throughout 2009, the project’s second phase completes the addition of nearly 100 new retailers, including such top brands as Burberry, Lacoste, Juicy Couture, lululemon, True Religion, and Tommy Bahama.

The Galleria’s revitalization is also marked by an ambitious architectural design.  Boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces are blurred to a striking effect.  Glass walls, skylights and high windows create an aura of transparency and luminescence, while an open-air promenade reveals exterior-facing shop entrances, a sweeping expanse of granite and greenery, and breathtaking clear façade.
