Texan Art Schools joins us this month opening their brand new store on the ground floor (ex Body Shop site).

Texan Art Schools started in the early 90's (more than 15years ago) as a unique forum for artists and designers graduating from Techs and Art Schools (hence the name- a bit of a play on words) - say it three times quickly.

Two women created the concept and had the vision needed for a quirky, unique and home-grown art and design store. Indeed many people believe Texan Art Schools was one store that helped to create the design-store concept that now exists all over New Zealand. Around 3 years ago Carrie took over the reigns and with passion, hard-work and dedication it's allowed even more kiwi artists and designers; and over 4 branches across Auckland.
