Design and Construction is the area within Westfield where the Centres come to life. This is where the Centres and stores are collaboratively designed with Development, to create award winning designs and then Construction takes over to build the Centres.
Design is responsible for designing and documenting all new future projects for Westfield, as well as redevelopments which are constantly taking place.
Construction build the Centres Design have documented. Construction has a broad scope of work that includes cost estimation, execution of the construction works, project programming and opening the shops. Construction is also partially responsible for maintaining existing assets and providing centre management with ongoing support.
