General Information

Aveda provides a range of beauty products for skin, hair, etc. for the environmentally minded. Their green ingredient policy leads them to use naturally-derived ingredients. ‘Naturally Derived’ means an ingredient from a plant, non-petroleum mineral, inorganic or other natural source (e.g., water); and having 50% of the molecular weight from those natural sources. Other criteria must be met(for example, we avoid certain types of processing).
